Why tag orders based on Country or Country + Region
If your fulfillment workflow or shipping process differs depending on the country or region or Country + Region that an order is being shipped to, then highlighting these orders via an order tag can save you and your team a great deal of time.
This criteria mirrors the available Countries and Regions that are available for customers to select when they checkout on a Shopify store. Therefore, this criteria can match any combination of Country + Region selected in the shipping address of an order, allowing you to create more targeted tagging workflows.
Examples of countries with regions
The following are examples of countries that will all also have an additional region selected in the shipping address:
If the shipping address country is South Africa, you can also specify a Province:
If the shipping address country is the United States, you can also specify a State:
If the shipping address country is Japan, you can also specify a Prefecture:
If the shipping address country is New Zealand, you can also specify a Region:
If the shipping address country is Chile, you can also specify a Region:
If the shipping address country is Canada, you can also specify a Province or Territory:
If the shipping address country is China, you can also specify a Province:
If the shipping address country is Australia, you can also specify a State or Territory:
