Tag orders based on the Shipping option that was selected

If you'd like to tag your orders with the name of the Shipping option used for the order, then we have a flexible criteria option that can be used to build your workflow.

How to use the criteria

To create a workflow using this criteria, click on the Create New Workflow button from the main Workflows view:

Click the Add criteria to my workflow button:

The Shipping option used for the order criteria can be found within the Shipping category in the Select criteria pop-up window:

Click the Use in your workflow button on the right to select this criteria.

Matching a specific shipping option

If you'd like your workflow to match when a specific shipping option has been selected, the Matches a specific shipping option will allow you can select one of your shipping options from the dropdown menu:

If, however, you have a Shipping Service that creates dynamic shipping options on the fly, you can use the Based on the title of the shipping method option to specify a word or phrase that this criteria should try to find in the title of the dynamic shipping option.

There are a variety of conditions to select from. Here is a brief overview of what each of those conditions does:

is: Does the Shipping option exactly match the string you have specified?is NOT: Does the Shipping option NOT match the exact string you have specified?contains: Does the Shipping option contain the string you have specified anywhere in the value? You can enter a comma separated list of value using this condition.does NOT contain: Does the Shipping option NOT contain the string you have specified anywhere in the value?in: Does the Shipping optionmatch exactly any of the provided comma separated list of values?

Select the condition most suited to what you are trying to identify in your Shipping option value.

You may need to take a look at your order data to find out the titles of the dynamic shipping options.

It is mandatory to name your workflow to save or edit it. Otherwise, you won't be able to save the changes or even test them. Then, check the summary of your workflow, and if happy, either Test your Workflow against an existing order or hit Save Workflow:
