Tag orders based on the financial status of the order
If you're looking to tag your orders based on the financial status of the order, then this is the criteria for you.
How to use the criteria
To create a workflow using this criteria, click on the Create New Workflow button from the main Workflows view:
Click the Add criteria to my workflow button:
The Financial Status of the order criteria can be found within the Transaction category in the Select criteria pop-up window:
Click the Use in your workflow button to select this criteria.
When configuring this criteria, you can choose if you want the criteria to match when the Financial Status either is, or is not the status that you specify:
The financial status options to choose from are as follows:
- paid - The payments have been paid
- pending - The payments are pending
- authorized - The payments have been authorized
- partially_paid - The order has been partially paid
- partially_refunded - The payments have been partially refunded
- refunded - The payments have been refunded
- voided - The payments have been voided
Select the criteria options that best suit the workflow you are trying to create:
Adding tags
Choose the name of the tag you'd like to see on all orders that match this workflow and enter it into the Add tags when the workflow matches FIXED TAGS TO BE APPLIED section:
Remember to click on the Add fixed tag button.
It's worth giving your workflow a name to help you identify it at a later date, so add a workflow name in the New Workflow section, check the summary of your workflow and if happy, either Test your workflow against an existing order or hit the Save Workflow button:
Any new order will now be checked to see if the Financial Status is partially_paid. If the workflow matches, the order will be tagged with Partial Payment.
Backdating
This criteria option will work when Backdating your orders, however, the financial status will be analysed as it currently stands rather than at the time the order was placed.
Dynamic Tagging
The Financial Status can not currently be applied to the order as a Dynamic Tag.
