How do I customize the look of my emails?

We recommend you design your emails in Mailchimp or Klaviyo, export and copy the HTML, and paste it into the Conjured app. 

To export the HTML from Klaviyo, you'll want to create an Email Template for each desired functional email (you can reference these in the Email Settings). You'll make all your customizations here in Klaviyo. When you are done, you'll go to your templates and Export the HTML:

As you create each email template in your builder, you'll want to make sure that the specific variables listed to the left of each email are included in your design for functionality. You can include them exactly as they appear, no need to include any ".com" or "https://" to the link variables. 

If you want to copy the default content from Conjured into your builder, be sure to remove the HTML before placing it! For example:

"Hey there,

ADVOCATE_NAME loves Conjured Demo Store and thinks you would too! <a href="REDEMPTION_LINK">Click this link</a> to get $10 off anything in the store. Here's what your friend has to say about it:

MESSAGE

So what are you waiting for? <a href="REDEMPTION_LINK">Start shopping!</a>

You received this email because your friend ADVOCATE_NAME thought you'd appreciate this deal. You haven't been added to any lists, and you won't get anymore emails unless someone decides to share this deal with you again. Once you have copied your HTML, you will paste it into the Body of the email in Conjured.

Finally, send yourself a test email to ensure it all looks good!
