Tag orders based on order tags

Orders can sometimes be created with tags already applied to them.

This can happen if you have a Sales Channel that creates orders in your store, or if you create draft orders that contain tags, which then become live orders in your store:

Criteria Options

Our Order tags criteria can be used to identify if new orders placed on your store either containsdoes NOT contain, are any of or are NOT any of a certain tag or tags that you specify:

Here is what each of the available options within the dropdown will do:

contains: If the order tags contain a particular tag that you specify.

does NOT contain: If the order tags do NOT contain a particular tag that you specify.

are any of: If the order tags contain any of the tags that you specify in a comma separated list.

are NOT any of: If the order tags do NOT contain any of the tags that you specify in a comma separated list.

Select the option that most suits your needs.

Wait for other apps to apply their tags

If you have other apps in your store that are also applying tags to your orders, then you may wish to use our delayed tagging feature to wait for them to finish applying their tags.

By delaying the processing of your Order Tagger workflows, the Order tags criteria will be able to pick up any new tags that have been applied to new orders, allowing you to use Order tagger to handle more complex workflows in your fulfillment process.
