Tag orders based on the selected store pickup location
If you are a Merchant that has enabled the local pickup option in your store, your customers can choose between Ship and Pick up in the Delivery method section of your checkout. When they select Pick up, they can choose the location where they want to pick up their order.
If you'd like to tag orders based on the Store Pickup Location selected by the customer, then this is the criteria that you need.
This criteria is able to identify orders when a Pick up location has been selected rather than a Shipping option, allowing you to specify a location and the tag that should be applied if that location has been selected.
How to use the criteria
To create a workflow using this criteria, click on the Create New Workflow button from the main Workflows view:
Define the trigger to determine at which point you would like the workflow to run, we recommend selecting the trigger when orders are created.
Click the Add criteria to my workflow button:
The Store pickup location used for the order criteria can be found within the Shipping category in the Select criteria pop-up window:
Click the Use in your workflow button to select this criteria.
You will then be presented with the following criteria options.
Click on the dropdown to reveal your available locations. Click on one to select:
Define the tag name that you would like to be applied when this local pickup location is selected (don't forget to click the Add fixed tag button:
Saving and naming your workflow
It's worth giving your workflow a name to help you identify it at a later date, so add a workflow name in the New Workflow section, check the summary of your workflow and if happy, either Test your Workflow against an existing order or hit Save Workflow:
If you want a different tag for each local pickup location, then you will need to create a workflow for each pickup location.
If you would like to identify ANY local pickup order with the same tag regardless of the selected location, then you can add each location as a criteria to a single workflow. Make sure that at the top of the criteria, section, you select the Any of the criteria can match (or) option:
Will this work with Backdating?
