How can you access the app preferences without my login details?

You may be mystified when we tune your app preferences after a support request if you are new to Shopify.

If we don't have access to your Shopify admin, how can we do that? 

The reason is that our app configuration resides in our databases. The Shopify app model works; each app is hosted by its developers, not Shopify.

This is very convenient as we can tune your app configuration without the need to have been granted access to your store, minimizing the risk of making any undesired changes.
